The AODC Band Gig at the Bull and Bear

On Thursday  evening the AODC Band played a gig at the Bull and Bear Tavern. A great time was had by all. Everyone sang along, many danced, and some took up the band's offer and joined them on stage!

The Welcome Reception

We celebrated the end of the first day at AODC 2002 with a "happy hour" at Sheraton Towers Southgate. The AODC Band, arguably the world's best and most famous tech writer band  amazed everyone with just how good they really were! Many delegates sang along to such all time favourites like "Technical Writer" and "The Technical Hillbillies" and a few could not resist the urge to dance! Many thanks to sponsors AuthorIT for the use of their projection equipment, and to band members, Kenny "Flash" Miller, Dave "Tex" Gash, Stewart "Jumpy" Walker,  Ian "Pete" Gabriel, Theresa "The Voice" Janett, and Katherine "Angel" O'Driscoll.

The Trivia Night at Young and Jacksons

Wednesday evening featured a Trivia Night at the famous Melbourne Hotel Young and Jacksons, under the nonchalant gaze of "Chloe". There was fierce competition for, well, no prize at all! Thanks to Quiz Master extraordinaire, "Uncle" Dave Gash.
