Network, Network, Network!
Many technical communicators work independently of their peers. It is a great
experience to be in the same room as a large group of your own ilk. People who
share the same problems and have similar experiences, and people who you can
both empathise and celebrate with! Networking has always been
a priority at AODC, and this year, there will be opportunities galore!
Welcome Reception
Wednesday 12th May, 4.45pm - 5.45pm
Drinks and canapés after the first day are
an ideal
way to meet colleagues and relax after a hard day of thought provoking
sessions. The Welcome Reception will be free for all AODC delegates, speakers
and exhibitors. |

Lunch Breaks
All lunches are included in the cost of the registration fee. They will be
served buffet style, and offer something to suit everyone. |
Trivia Night
Thursday 13th May, 7.00 pm - 9:00pm
"Uncle" Dave's Trivia Night has become a legendary event at AODC.
The 2009 winners
(The Documentals) are pictured at right with "Uncle" Dave himself
(partially obscured, thankfully). They
are proudly displaying the perpetual Shoe Shiner trophy. There is no cost to
attend the 2010 Trivia Night, although you'll have to pay for your own meals, drinks
and bribes. |
